In May 2017, more than 78,000 signatures were delivered to the B.C. legislature urging the government to ban trophy hunting of grizzly bears in B.C. In August 2017, the newly elected Premier Horgan announced an end to trophy hunting in the province. Thank you to everyone who raised their voices to protect bears.

In April 2017, more than 55,000 signatures were delivered to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service urging the Trump administration not to remove Endangered Species Act protections from Yellowstone’s grizzly bears. However, in June, the Trump administration announced plans to strip all Endangered Species Act protections from the Yellowstone grizzly bears, paving the way for trophy hunting in Wyoming, Montana and Idaho. Wildlife protection organizations are challenging this decision. To date, no hunt has occurred and we need you to raise your voice now to protect these iconic animals.
